It has been in my ownership for the past 9 years, a cherished car always garaged and kept in great condition, only used in good weather on the isle of Man.
First registered in November 1984 it is believed to be 66th from the last of the production run of 437 and benefits from a galvanised chassis, fitted with the standard 2.8 Ford Cologne V6. The original order has a non specific colour code and still in its factory paint scheme (which I can only describe as very much like Aston Martin Racing Green) and colour coded Revolution wheels which are also original.
Fitted with a Stainless Steel petrol tank and exhaust system including headers.
In my ownership the following larger items have been carried out:-
QRG unleaded cylinder head conversion, Automatic Gearbox and prop shaft overhaul
Fibre timing wheels replaced with metal crankshaft and camshaft gears.
Fitted with Webber 38 DGAS carburettor
Radiator replaced incorporating latest QRG supplied electric fan
New headlining (as one of the previous owners was a smoker!)
Full suspension front and rear overhaul, reassembled with Poly-bushes, new springs and shock absorbers.
Windscreen rubber replaced
Front discs and pads, rear wheel cylinders and shoes replaced
Recently all petrol lines replaced with latest specification hose.
And much more with full documentation to back it up.
Test Certificates on file:-
First one issued December 1988 when 3 years old with mileage reading 44504
Certificate issued 1991 reads 60141, from then on the vehicle amassed annual mileages of less than 1000 miles. The car was imported to the Isle of Man in 2010 with the last UK test certificate from 2009 stating 65435. There are no MOT tests on the Isle of Man. Mileage now reading 79,455
The asking price is commensurate with condition and being one of the few with the galvanised chassis, as can be seen from attached photographs is superb underneath – therefore the asking price is firm.
