1967 Sunbeam Tiger Mark II(289-2V)painted Orchid Green,a late '67 color offering for Tiger and Alpine V, one of the Hartwell Six. The Hartwell Six were part of a group of seven Tiger IIs intended for export to the US which were left on the Southampton docks, but did not leave because either they didn't comply with US emissions regulations for that model year or tax hadn't been collected to release them for shipping. In any event, Alan Hartwell, son of Rootes dealer and engine tuner George Hartwell discovered them on the dock, and negotiated with Rootes to purchase them. One was quickly sold to a Canadian dealer, and the other six were converted to RHD and had Minilite alloy wheels installed. Supposedly, this one was kept and driven by Hartwell for a while. All of the six were sold in the UK. This one has gone through a handful of prominent Sunbeam fans. The last UK owner had this car repainted Metallic Blue(because his wife disliked the original green) before eventually selling the car to a German buyer.

Most of the Tigers went to the USA, but it remained quite rare with a total of only 71
