The car has been known to us for the past 20 years having sold it to its two previous owners. We helped with the original restoration fitting floors and sills and carrying out chassis repairs and strengthening. We also rebuilt the engine to stage 2 with a mild road camshaft, lightened and balanced bottom end and a polished and printed cylinder head. More recently we have rebuilt the gearbox and overdrive replacing the clutch at the same time.
The Surrey top fitted has the rare alloy lid again fitted by TR Bitz.
Additional specification includes: poly bushes suspension, Koni shock absorbers, Phoenix performance stainless steel exhaust manifold and single box large bore exhaust system, oil cooler, Samco silicone cooling hoses, K&N air filter and electronic ignition.
