A fantastic project example of an early British classics, the Crossley, as made in Manchester in the 20s. A very original car in need of attention.
A fantastic find, brimming in character and untold stories. Presented for sale is a Crossley 19.6hp 5-seater Open-top Tourer in original condition in need of restoration. It was originally registered in Belfast on the registration OI-7256. Having had very little fettling, the engine runs and the running gear operates. The chassis seems fairly intact with the interior and woodwork having suffered the most over its years of storage. There is lots of leather left which would be good for patterns, the wooden frame is, by in main, present with a case of woodworm so can again act as pattern; even the original pin striping is visible on top of the seemingly orignal grey paint on the exterior.
A wonderful project which would certainly yield a car worthy of the work!
