The mk 3 Humber Sceptre had a 9 year production run and was built with the 1725cc engine inclined by 15 degrees to give a lower bonnet line and to allow clearance for the twin Stromberg carburettors and linked to a manual overdrive gearbox. Now a very rare car with few of these luxury vehicles available for sale.
The odometer reads just under 39000 miles, believed to be correct given its ownership history and condition.
A bare metal respray was carried out about 8 years ago and the car had been stored for several years until I purchased it last year. Since then it has been fully recommissioned mechanically including 5 new tyres, full service and underbody sealed.
There is some previous history and photos along with full details of the recent work carried out and a current MOT certificate.
The car drives very well without any issues, good oil pressure and a quiet transmission with everything working correctly and being used on the road regularly (weather permitting).
Should you like to chat about the car, please do not hesitate to contact me.
