PERFECT MECHANICS - AUTO CIRCULATING STILL
vices: steering not original
We have this delicious Renault 4cv type R1062 from 1958, in good aesthetic condition and with perfectly efficient mechanics, one of the protagonists in the panorama of French sports car racing in the immediate post-war period.
The vehicle has undergone an almost total restoration in the bodywork and interior. Replaced: Suspensions - Electrical system - 6v battery - Added directional lights according to current traffic regulations.
The bodywork records very few significant imperfections, for a car that is used daily, only with hints of oxidation principle. NO RUST.
The fabric interiors appear well-kept, intact and with few signs of marginal wear. Steering is not his.
Mechanically, the engine is in excellent health and currently requires no intervention, the car circulates regularly on the city streets. Recently replaced the water pump.
The 4cv was born during the German occupation, in absolute secrecy. The car was to replace the Juvaquatre, which had achieved so much success in the two years preceding the outbreak of the conflict, surprisingly resembles the ancestor of the Beetle, which inspired the creator. It was the first French to exceed one million specimens. In 1954 there was a slight restyling, of an aesthetic type and mostly concentrated in the front, where the grille with six horizontal strips gave way to a new grille with only three chrome strips, but thicker.
