1967 Citroen HY.
• 2.1 litre petrol.
• Medium wheelbase.
• Under 1000 miles on the clock.
• Tax exempt.
• Upgraded drive shafts.
• Fully rebuilt gearbox.
Lovely example of the classic Citroen van, lovingly restored and converted to use a modern 2.1 litre Ford engine (petrol), whilst retaining the classic Citroen (fully refurbished) gearbox, uprated drive shafts and larger radiator, meaning running costs are lowered and the advantage of high availability and low cost of parts for Ford, rather than the hard to find and very expensive Citroen parts.
Conversion carried out by Allan Lloyd at Atlantic Motorhomes – the masters of modern conversions. This van has covered less than 1000 miles since conversion and drives like a dream.
This vehicle is exempt from road tax and is also old enough to be exempt from requiring an MOT, though it can be supplied with an MOT for your peace of mind.
Restored cabin with the little touches that make all of the difference – brand new window felts and channels so you can actually open the windows, newly restored seats and covers for a comfortable ride, engine hood cover and carpeted to increase sound dampening, also has fitted power steering to make life a little easier, with removable steering wheel for added security. Also fitted with LED headlights so you can actually see where you are going!
Refurbished and fitted out ready for catering, makes an ideal festival van. Fully lined kitchen with quality easy-cleanable cabinets and stainless tops. Plenty of room for equipment, fridges/freezers, with easy to clean floor and wipeable walls. Features opening side panel and drop-down shelf for service.
Ready to go to work, with 240v electrics professionally fitted, providing power throughout the rear, 12v led lighting also fitted for when no mains power is available. Equipped with LPG distribution system to allow for the option of using propane catering equipment. Water heater fitted and water pump and sink plumbed in.
