In 1968 Moretti S.P.A. had only 164 employees, this pretty Berlinetta was designed by a swiss designer Dany Brawand (1934-2012), a young pupil of Giovanni Michelloti, who took him in his studio in Turin, from 1952-1964.

In 1966 Moretti presented the 850 Sportiva at the Turin Racing Car Show in February 1966. This hand built car received the 1200cc engine from Fiat 124 saloon car, a few customers more attracted by confort and finish then performance. This car was commissioned with several expensive extras, such as, seats, Hellebore steering wheel, and the very rare Cromodora Fergat alloy wheels.
Car is under total professional restoration, all parts existents, and spares.
The original color was Blu Cannes/Mediterranean Blue 8006, lately painted Medium Red.
