1200 chief 1940 Fully Restored For Sale

Displacement 1200 cm3 SERIAL NO. Frame 11K385HS48 CDO ENGINE 4176B Full restoration for this rare Indian 1940 with all period elements (no remanufacturing) such as the horn, the head of the Indian night light, counter, glass rear light etc. The machine was purchased in June 2005 from American Motor in Soullans in Vendée in its original state, after two years of running finalized by an engine failure, a total restoration was undertaken. Frame control and anti corrosion treatment Carburetor box engine repair at Indian Service, Richard Schoenfeld in Speyer in Germany Bodywork and painting were done at Origin Carroserrie, old-fashioned work, so no putty and very good paint quality. Brakes and electricity were made at our colleague Mecanique Retro in Mortoire. So that good craftsmen intervened on this magnificent motorcycle. The investment made both human and financial on this motorcycle is limitless for the sake of operating efficiency and finely played aesthetics without an abundance of chrome "American" which avoids the gang side "of motorcycles more beautiful than new "which unfortunately prevails in the world of antique motorcycles.
