We bought this truck in Spain in 2013. We imported it into the UK in 2019 when we moved here.
The truck has been in almost constant use since we bought it. We used it to compete in the Santana Trophy in Morocco in 2015, and it has featured many times in Classic Land Rover magazine. However, we now have two kids and, being a truck cab, it just isn't practical any more, and we can't justify keeping it.
The truck is pretty much rust free. Both footwells have been replaced in the last 12 months. The chassis is very solid and was waxoyled last year.
The engine pulls well, but it is a little smokey. It is worth remembering that this is old diesel technology.
This truck originally had two fuel tanks. However, when we bought it the rear tank was leaking so we removed it to save weight. This could be reinstated very easily.
The truck has an overdrive.
The BFG tyres have years of service left in them. The wolf style wheels are new. The spare wheel well in the tub was custom made to fit the slightly larger 235/85 tyre. I still have the canopy and hood sticks and these are also included in the sale.
Mot until February 2021.
The vehicle is sold as seen. We are not interested in part exchange. Sensible offers only please.
