2003 Marlin Sportster Project For Sale

For sale here, is my Marlin Sportster that I took delivery of way back in 2003.

The power train and suspension option I chose was the Rover 3.5 V8 / Granada, as I didn't want to use a donor car as space was limited and at the time, parts were plentiful. The Engine is from an early Rover P6, so has the classic rocker covers and the gearbox is a fully rebuilt Rover LT37 5 speed. The Marlin has a Ford Granada five stud front and rear hub assemblies, along with a Granada Mk IV differential and trailing arm rear suspension. Wolfrace alloy wheels complete the basic setup.
As can be seen from the photographs, it is an unfinished project and will need to be sorted out in many different areas, depending on how far the new owner wanted to go with it.
The Marlin is not registered with the DVLA.

Fast forward to 2020 and the car is actually on it's four wheels and running, going and stopping!
It would make an excellent project, as it is now in one piece and simply needs the enthusiasm (and money) to turn it into a legal, SVA'd
road car or a full-on racer to be ready for the 2021 season, an option which i'm sure would not be very expensive and would certainly be very competitive.
A really good gallery of photos can be found on the Marlin Owners Club website www.marlinownersclub.com
My memory has been a bit dimmed by the passing of time, but please get touch with any questions and i'll do my best to get the grey cells working!
