Not quite a standard 205gti but at first glance, apart from the Speedline wheels and the colour , it looks like one.
A fully rebuilt car with just about every component either replaced or rebuilt. The brakes are new, with standard 1.9discs and calipers at the rear with Mintex 1144 pads whist at the front, the discs are 283mm vented with 6 pot calipers, again with 1144 pads. All the brake lines are Teflon lined braided flexible , the pedal box is modified to take a pair of AP master cylinders and a balance bar and a 6:1 pedal ratio to keep the pedal effort close to a standard system that has a servo.
Suspension is brand new AST 5300 3 way adjustable , with the adjustment canisters in the engine bay for the front and the boot for the rears. The hubs are rebuilt with powder coated wishbones, subframe and other brackets. The rear beam is similarly rebuilt , powdercoated and fitted with 21mm torsion bars and 25mm anti roll bar, all new bearings and seals and new wheel bearings .
The interior is fully rebuilt with sound deadening , a pair of Cobra reclining seats , a MOMO steering wheel, a Stack digital dash and an electric adjustable power steering column which feeds a Xsara VTS 2.6 turn rebuilt rack with new arms and ends .
The gearbox is a fully rebuilt 405mi16 unit with a Quaife ATB differential and new driveshafts .
The engine is a bespoke 2.3 litre unit based on the GTi6 block , a 96mm stroke crank from an EW12 engine , an S16 head with Supertech valves , Taylor engineering cams and new lifters. The rods and pistons are bespoke forged items and , along with the crank , clutch and flywheel, fully balanced . The engine is managed by an Emerald ECU and fed by a set of AT throttle bodies. The engine management loom is brand new , as is all the engine bay wiring right back to the fusebox. Exhaust is a stainless Miltec with a stainless 4 branch manifold that has been Zirotec treated to reduce engine bay temperatures . The engine was fully mapped on a rolling road and managed 217hp and 190ft.lb . Cooling is via an new Alloy radiator and. twin fans .
The bodywork is in excellent condition.with no rust . The trim is all o.e Peugeot and in equally good condition .

Red with grey and red cloth 39000 miles. This is my own car. I was first attracted to these cars when I first started trading back in the late eighties, I drove one from Oxford to Marshalls Garage.....
