Although this car has covered 180k, apart from the arches the car is in exceptional condition, completely original and unmodified. The car is a credit to its first owner with only a very few minor imperfections on the bodywork (excluding the arches) and the interior is incredibly clean. The car has been garaged every night and cleaned regular. As you may or may not know, these cars were very hard to order when released and a lot were Managers/Demo cars so this car was sourced through a broker (Euro Car Consultants) and had to be secured via a Paris dealership. So this car was ordered in UK spec but delivered and PDI’d at a Paris dealership before being shipped to the UK for the first owner. The car has a fully stamped service history and stacks of paperwork/invoices including letters in regards to ordering and delivery of the car when new. Although the car has covered such a large amount of miles the engine is extremely quiet and has a very smooth gearbox, I drove it back 100miles and it drives faultlessly. Up to 10yrs old the car was a relatively low mileage car for its age, only covering just under 50k, however after a change of location for work it was now to cover a 60mile a day commute so the miles piled on. Now the arches and no doubt further, both arches are showing rust but more substantially is the OS. I haven’t taken out any interior panels to inspect the inside as I think we can all safely say it will be rusty given the exterior of the arch. I think this car to any Ph1 enthusiast would make a great little restoration considering its history but most of all with how original and untouched this car is, I understand it will probably cost more than the car is worth to restore but isn’t this the case with most restorations? Happy to answer any questions or supply more images to any genuine interest in the car. Thanks for looking ????????
