"True survivor", This matching numbers Austin-Healey 100 has been preserved in absolutely original condition!
Only 16,883 miles from new! This Healey was delivered to the first owner in Arkansas USA in 1955. He died after two years and 14,331 miles of driving pleasure. The Healey was kept in the barn where it has been untouched for 52 years. This original preserved Healey was sold by the family in 2007 and came to the Netherlands. The current 2nd owner has decided to only technically restore the Healey and preserve the rest. Many original details such as the windshield, engine, gearbox, factory tires (Dunlop Road speed) with rims and Lucas light switch production date 12/54 etc. have been preserved. The body and chassis with its beautiful patina are preserved and rust-free, never put on, welded or anything like that. The engine, gearbox, overdrive, carburettors and clocks have been overhauled, but the appearance has not been modified. See for example the detailed photos of the carburettors and valve cover! The Healey drives like new, the engine runs perfectly and starts immediately, the 3-speed gearbox shifts very smoothly.
The car is now equipped with recent Dunlop Road Speed ??RS5 tires.
There is so much to tell about this car, but you should see this one in real life! Truly unique, there is no second copy of this!
