1995 JDM ST205 GT4,finished in factory Astral Black., only 103k.

This my own car,being an owners club Moderator I knew the sort of car I should be looking for,and luckily this came available from someone I had known in the Celica world for over 10 years,so I knew it was a really nice car.I wanted to avoid a modified vehicle and having owned one before,this car was exactly the right one.

1995 Facelift model,so has the later alloy wheels,factory sideskirts,factory 3 post rear spoiler and the desireable facelift rear light clusters.
Japanese Domestic Market vehicle,so hasn't had its whole life exposed to UK roads.Also means it doesnt come with the leaky sunroof UK models had,and also benefits from climate control and folding electric mirrors.
The paintwork polishes up beautifully,it still has the original sills etc and underside of the doors,wheelarches and the usual trouble spots are all excellent and rust free.
Less than 2k miles ago I went right through her and replaced all the serviceable parts with genuine Toyota items.(invoices present)

Cambelt,water pump,tensioners
Front crankshaft oil seal
Oil pump cord seal
Camcover gaskets,inner and outer,and O rings for bolts
Fluid service,plus Toyota Red Coolant
New Toyota discs all round,Stoptech pads.
Front calipers replaced with newly refurbished items,sliders,seals etc.
Exhaust was original but was very tired so I had a bespoke stainless steel catback system built to OEM factory spec
by Fast road Performance in Kent.I have the invoice for this for £840.Looks and sounds factory.
Brand new Rainsport 5 tyres fitted recently.
Rear diff assembly and subframe cleaned back,treated and painted for future proofing.
Clutch was replaced with a Toyota Aisin item and release bearing just before i got the car a year ago,so it bites nice and low and is very strong,gearchanges are smooth and no notchiness or synchro noise through any changes.
Rear diff mount looks to have been replaced and is in great condition,the superstrut front suspension is all tight and there is no knocking or movement from the front or the rear of the car,which is something you should look for with a 205.
I have invoices in a large folder of previous owners documentation showing replacement SS parts from around 70k,so looking back the car has been very well maintained,diff oil replacements etc.Alternator is very new,and the radiator has been replaced as well,nice and clean and not brown and aged like many you will see.There are no cheap pattern service parts on this car,all the parts used are genuine items and all done at just under 102k miles.So it really needs nothing and is ready to enjoy.

She drives exactly as she should,no smokey start up or under load,idles lovely and smooth,and is very quiet.. the 250bhp 3SGTE engine is very responsive and has an alarming amount of acceleration,as you would expect.
There are no modifications on this car,no dump valves,extra gauges,no one has spoiled it and the interior is untouched.Headlining excellent,original uncut door cards and parcel shelf,no amplifiers etc,and seats are excellent,no wear on the drivers seat bolster or seat pad which is usually common.It even still has the Japanese flare and holder in the passenger footwell.
Unmolested GT4's are extremely hard to source,and with this level of maintenance this is an ideal enthusiasts car ,and a good opportunity to own while prices are still rising.
