Milestone Classics are delighted to offer to market this remarkable MGB GT V8 that we have sold on two previous occasions and are delighted to have the opportunity to market again.
The car, an original chrome bumper GT, was previously owned by a local, highly respected, naval engineer who truly cherished his car for nearly twenty years. In 2003, after six years of use as a daily driver the shell was badly corroded and a full body restoration using a replacement shell was commissioned.
The objective of the project was set by the owner – he wanted to create the best specification & fastest V8 GT possible. The MG was despatched to highly respected specialist Horam Classic Restorations, East Sussex. Horam sourced a replacement shell at a cost in excess of £6,500 and all mechanical components were systematically refurbished or replaced.
A new, and very desirable, Powertrain Engineering 4600cc engine was purchased through the MG Owners Club. Originally destined for Morgan the last eight remaining engines were snapped up by the MGOC and offered to club members to build their ultimate V8.

It is an superb car to drive, looks stunning, is utterly reliable and one of the fastest most capable MGB’s on the road today. If I had the space this is the one that I would buy, use and enjoy……she is utterly addictive.
A very nice MGB GT in the original color "British Racing Green". A beautiful car with overdrive. This MGB GT was delivered new in 1973 in the United States. Then the car in 1995 came to the Netherlands......
We are always looking for nice clean MG stock, Midgets, BGTs, Roadsters, MG 1100s, Magnettes, MGA's etc

Full restoration required for this early and quite rare MK1 GT. Castle sections and sills are good, comes with original aluminium bonnet and interior, non overdrive gearbox.
