Offered for sale, an Alfa Romeo 1750 6C GS kit. An exciting chance to continue building up an Alfa Romeo 6C using many original parts, at a fraction of the cost of a totally original car and in the style of the Zagato bodied grand sports.

The following is intended to provide prospective buyers, a brief overview of what’s included. I also have a huge file of detailed photographs available.
I would however encourage viewings if seriously interested, social distancing easily accommodated.

Consisting of an original 1750 6C engine, original gearbox , original numbered rear axle casing , front axle and a replica chassis by the respected Feierabend of Germany , with a part used / part completed body in the style of Zagato .

Originally constructed in 1929, the engine number of 0411855 corresponds to a 3rd series 6C originally fitted with Turismo coachwork .
The engine has received work on the bottom end by renowned Alfa and Maserati engineer Simon Bish of SPB Historics ltd , and comes with crank installed and new Phoenix rods and shell bearings to correct pattern - the engine is sold as requiring a complete rebuild .

The original gearbox is numbered 0241957 with a gearbox ratio stamping of 15x29

The rear axle casing is original and stamped 10584554 , it comes with half shafts and newly machined diff housing and newly made torque tube, original back plates, shoes and drums .

The front axle is complete and looks to require little work before it could be used , back plates and drums & hubs appear new , main axle has been over-stamped with numerals in a modern font bearing the number 1081484 .

The body is in the style of Zagato and the bulkhead bodywork may well be of original construction albeit much modified , the bonnet, doors and rear body are old and have been fitted to a car , I suspect built perhaps 20- 30 years ago, doors require skinning to be completed and the rear body tub requires the sides wrapping in aluminium and completing .
To replicate this bodywork would be both costly and time consuming .

Also included -
Late series Supercharger rebuilt
Steering box and column - inc horn button and advance retard lever .
Bosch starter
Alfa Romeo stamped ridge spinner centres
Cast windscreen supports
Headlamp stay castings
Bosch headlamps , with original rims and glass , new bowls from Peter Shaw.
Dashboard panel
Six as new wire wheels with Michelin tyres in very good condition.
Road springs front and rear
Shackles for springs
