This is a Banbury eligible v Twin motorcycle, restoration completed 2 years ago, it has since covered 680 miles and is now nicely run in,it had new pistons and oil pump in the engine rebuild and all new clutch plates, the magneto was completely stripped and rebuilt.
A completely professional restoration of the fuel tank and tinware, which was then resprayed and signwritten in the correct AJS period insignia.
The bike rides beautifully with 3 gears in the hand change gearbox and pulls like a train. You would struggle to find a better similar example both mechanically and visually.
First registered on the 1st of July 1937 in London & still retaining it's original transferable registration number. The last owner had this machine from 1997, only parting with it due to ill health......
