Here is a very early example of the iconic Mercedes T1 Camper Van, MOT and Tax exempt. This is a barn find that I bought last summer. The previous owner had obviously been repairing and tidying the van at some point.
I have done a lot more work since and it is now running and driving. It does require some welding, body and paint work.
it is solid enough and does not need new wings, doors, front panel bonnet etc as they are not in bad condition. Some lower outer sill panels have been replaced but some more needed.
Interior is very retro with the original period fittings.
It is designed to sleep 4 or 5 with bunks that pull out.
There are 2 gas bottles, blown air heating, gas boiler, shower, toilet with washbasin, hob with grill, oven, 3 way fridge,. 2 large water tanks and grey water holding tank. all will need checking
An ideal project for someone who loves these classic Mercedes and can do the work. .
Although it can be driven, a transporter is recommended
