1968 BSA Starfire -lovely bike For Sale

1968 BSA Starfire 250cc; lovely bike An absolutely delightful BSA Starfire, which is in fantastic all-round condition and is running very well indeed, being a lovely easy starter. Registered on the 10th February 1968, she is an older restoration and is still in great condition and benefits from a recent new Amal Carb and a new steel petrol tank. The original fibreglass one comes with the bike and is in good original condition, but was suffering from Ethanol damage. The leak has now been repaired and the tank relined, so could easily be returned to the bike as now all back in serviceable order. The bike, now MOT and tax exempt, appears to have led a quiet life over the last 52 years, with the odometer currently showing 20,581 miles and has only had 5 owners (with the last owner having owned the bike twice, buying it back after is friend had it for a short while). She has been storage for the last 10 years and recently re-commissioned and a new carb fitted and is riding very well and has just had a recent new battery and tyres fitted and is an easy starter-going first or second kick and pulls really strongly for a 250, with easy gear selection. This BSA is the perfect bike for a ride out on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy in the sunshine down country lanes or out on a Club run and is only going to go one way with regards to value. She comes with old buff log books, V5 in my name and a new workshop manual. A video of her running can be seen shared -just message me and I will send you the link. I can send high -res images of the bike to you via We Transfer if required -please just message me. Viewing most welcome (social distancing to be strictly adhered to) near Henley-on-Thames: RG9 5NB and I can help with courier/ or delivery if required, again observing strict social distancing practices. Offering an inexpensive route into classic British bikes, this BSA is both looking super and running very well and offering superb value at £2,995
