This vehicle has been uprated in a number of areas with a view to entering some form of motor racing or rallying. To this end, the interior has been stripped to include two racing seats, roll cage and harnesses only (no carpets or rear seats although the door cards remain).

Engine has been subject to improvements with pistons and full crank assembly balance from Rotherham Engine Supplies, Piper cams, set up on rolling road with Noble Motorsport and magnatronic electronic ignition. It is understood that some £6k was spent on upgrades and equipment.

I quote from the previous owner ‘ all the suspension parts were renewed and uprated, all bushes polyester, front springs stiffer, suspension parts uprated so stiffer. Anything that could have been renewed with better was’. Suspension is coil springs front, leaf springs rear with hydraulic dampers

Minilite wheels including a spare, stainless steel exhaust and fibreglass front wings and bonnet. Working overdrive in third and fourth. External blue is Fiat, internal original MGB blue. The white stripes are painted but the decals can be removed.

Whilst the driver side castle rail was replaced (blue paint is required to complete the lower part of the panelling forward of the wheel arch where it has been undercoated). The driver's door suffers rust to the lower edge. Engine bay would benefit from painting as would the engine block.

This vehicle is soon to be MOT and road tax exempt.
