Original chrome bumper Roadster with overdrive and wire wheels. First registered in June 1972. Rebuilt in 1993 with new heritage body shell & the body seam sealed. The bodywork today is still immaculate. At the same time the suspension, seats, trim carpets, stainless exhaust hood and brightwork were either refurbished or replaced. The engine, gearbox and rear axle have been retained and the underside wax oiled.
Kept in a dry garage and only used during summer months. Full tonneau and tailored dust cover.
The original passport and service record shows the car to have been supplied by University Motors, Croydon on 10/06/1972.
Extensive bundle of paperwork including restoration receipts, old MOT certs and tax discs have been retained.
The vehicle has covered 71000 miles since new and there have been three previous owners, the first two until 2014. All in all a lovely car that is much admired... old age forces sale.
