Tasmin 280i convertible
Complete full restoration undertaken in 2011/2012 by ex factory workforce and has done under 5000 miles since the work was carried out in 2012.
A complete photo record of all the work from the bare chassis to the completed car is with the car.
Far to much work done to list but anything and everything has been done including but not limited to the following.
New body panels ( bumpers, sills, bootlid, front air dam, and rear valence.)
Chassis fully jig welded
new brakes and lines
Colour is samoa blue it is a BMW M3 colour I have been informed.
The car is not quite as it left the factory as it has full leather seats from a TVR Chimaera with a leather interior. It looks much better in my opinion. The original dash layout has been retained with the original switches and instruments etc ( some have been replaced for new).
There are very few if any 280i as good as this one. It took me three years to find this car and it came from Tony Abram at HHC who I know from the DETEC TVR race series.
I have this car since 2016 and has had little use in my ownership about two thousand miles.
I have more photo's of the car and some of the photo album showing the build process from day one to completion.
any further information just ask
The best TVR Tasmin 280i 2-seat I've seen in a VERY long time ! Very rare car, even in the UK, in the purest bodywork form, with the fuel injected 2.8 Ford V6 engine, automatic, a true GT ! Splendid.....
This is an incredible example that was originally TVR's very own press car that was featured at the 1982 NEC motor show. Built to a far higher standard due to it being the press car it is in exceptional.....
