1965 Mk1 Austin Mini Cooper S . Old English white with black roof.
This is a very rare genuine Cooper s. (99% of them have been reshelled in the past, this is a proper original Cooper s).
The mini was originally exported to North America where it remained until 2018 when it returned home.
According to the heritage certificate the car was built on 7th January 1965 and came with a fresh air heater and twin fuel tanks.
The car retains its original matching number Cooper s engine with correct AEG312 block and Cooper s crank etc. It also has the correct and rare 333 gearbox with correct outputs, again it comes with a AEG163 head. The engine has just had a full rebuild and rolling road session at Southams MMC and runs lovely on Unleaded fuel with the original H4 twin SU carbs.
The paint work is beautiful (cost £5000 alone) and the panel gaps are very good..
The car benefits from a new Newton commercial interior with the correct recliners.
The Britax 3 point seatbelts , les leston steering wheel and the 5 new rose petal wheels complement the cafe racer look!
