This black Lancia Thema 8.32 (engine 'by Ferrari') is one of only four currently on UK roads. The car drives extremely well. There are no warning lights showing, good oil pressure and the temperature gauges all show the engine correct levels. This is not surprising as it received the full 'engine out' service at Bell Classics in September 2018. Belts , tensioners, pads, discs, hoses, fuel filters and a new clutch were fitted. In my ownership it has since been serviced by Ferrari expert Terry Hoyle and received a new battery this year. It passed an MOT with no advisories in February. It has a full black Poltrona Frau leather interior, patinated but nice. Everything works except the glass sunroof which is fixed in the closed position, though it still allows nice light into the cockpit.
The body is in good condition and the panels all appear to be rust free. I am currently restoring the wood trim on the doors and when the door cards came off all was found to be dry, rust free and in good order. The 'signature' pop up boot spoiler is fully operable. The speed line alloy wheels have been nicely restored.
The paint is not first class, I suspect one of it owners lived in rural Italy as there are light scratches consistent with brushes from vegetation on narrow lanes. There are also a couple of car park dings the new owner may care to attend too. So that's it, a good but not perfect, low KM example, that drives well and has had all the big 'engine out' jobs done. One sold on here recently for 22 k so I think this is a fair price.
