An outstanding example of the Mark 1 Alvis TD21 DHC by Park Ward. Only 192 were built with DHC coachwork and were an immediate success due to the high build quality and elegant bodywork. Presented in a very handsome dark blue with light blue leather interior, excellent condition inside and out.
Dispatched new to Dr Hall, Oxford from Brooklands of Bond Street on the 25th January 1961, this car comes with an extensive history file showing a genuine documented mileage of 53, 000 miles. A matching numbers example fitted with a later 5 speed Tremac gearbox with the original 4 speed gearbox included.
This is a very comfortable four seater convertible and has toured extensively around Great Britain and the Continent. Lovely to drive with the tractable 3 litre straight-six, a quiet and smooth ride, light steering, good brakes, chrome wire wheels and a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system. The TD21 is a real drivers car that is ideal for touring in great comfort.
Winner of the Alvis Owners Club concours Madam Graber award in 2009, this car attracts a lot of attention and is a real head turner.
