Superb condition inside and out; MOT expiry March 2021; a previous owner includes the BBC’s Eastenders - Derek Branning’s car on the show.
Outside: stunning and completely rust free. The car has benefitted from a complete professional re-spray 2019.
Inside: excellent with great leather and a refurbished dashboard. There have been a couple of repairs made to the driver’s seat and rear bench. The headlining is completely sag free and the carpets are unmarked.
It has the correct oil pressure. About 7500 miles ago the engine was swapped for a 70k unit from a series 2 Jag. The new engine was professionally installed. At the time the engine bay was painted and a new recored radiator fitted. The exhaust system Is excellent and boasts a new down pipe.
Electrics: all switches and lights work as intended. The alternator was replaced about 3.5k miles ago. It has a brand new air con compressor, but the air con doesn’t blow very cold. It has a lovely retro-style stereo unit which suits the car perfectly and allows for Bluetooth connectivity.
Steering and suspension: this Daimler has the magic carpet ride you would expect. It is a luxurious barge that soaks up the bumps. It has that one finger power steering that was popular on luxury cars in the 1970s. The tyres have legal tread. The power steering rack drops a bit of fluid occasionally. Again, nothing to worry about and to be expected on a 42 year old car.
Brakes are superb.
History: MOT and tax exempt and registered as historic. 7 previous keepers. Detailed history from the last 7 years.
