1960 BSA C15 Trials Pre 65 Twinshock SS80 engine For Sale

1960 BSA C15 Project. Trials conversion.
Road registered with logbook - 4 previous owners since 1960.
Bit of a project with some things to complete, but it has been running so I know the engine is OK, but there are things to do before it can be fired up again, so treat it as spares or repair.
Has an SS80 engine, apparently with a big valve head.

Jobs to complete:
It has electronic ignition fitted, but electrics need tidying up as the wiring is a bit chaotic (not done by me!).
Exhaust needs to be fitted (I have one).
Oil tank either needs securing or buy a dedicated trials oil tank (which is bit smaller and can be tucked into the frame nicely).
Connect up the rear brake, reaction arm and fit a chain.
Lock stops need fitting.

Tax and MOT exempt.

A good, honest project that is up for sale as I have been made redundant so have other priorities at the moment and it's unlikely that I'm going to get round to it. Shame to have it just sitting there, so time to pass it on.

Please call if you'd like to view or I can arrange delivery at cost if required

SORRY - RESERVED In 1977 a sixteen year old could ride a 250cc bike on L plates. So I bought a BSA C15, and rode to school on it every day. I passed my test on it, bought a Bonneville, and the BSA went to the back of the shed. Forty four years later, it's still there! It will need a good service to get it running (oil ...
