Original Owner’s manual in sleeve, Full-Service History, previous MOTs, tax disc and receipts. Comes with the rare tonneau cover. The cover clips to the front of the dashboard and then lays over the seats, clips under the door mirrors and secures (sort of) to the folded roll hoop. It’s complete with no tears and the zips all work, however the fixings to the door are missing. Needs a trimmer to sort. You can also just unzip the driver’s side and leave the rest of the cover in place as you cruise along. Roof bags are all complete and original. Factory aerial still in boot, although it’s never been fitted with a sound system of any kind. Refurbished wheels in Anthracite grey. They really set the car off and look superb. Extensive welding to floors and rears arches in 2014 and only one item of minimal welding since. New sump just fitted. Engine is totally stock and pulls strong. No problems with clutch or gearbox – usual Cappuccino characteristics, second can be obstructive when cold.
Roll Hoop: Paint bubbling in two places on the roll hoop. I think these are aluminium. I never got around to having this done. Corrosion: As with most Cappuccino’s there are a couple of spots of bubbling paint – one to the rear wing, which is new this year, one to the lower front wing which I resprayed myself a couple of years ago. Nothing to trouble the MOT tester, but something to be aware of. After the initial £1, 000 of welding when I first had the car in 2014, I’ve only had to pay for one minor bit of welding since, so it’s pretty sorted in that area. Roof panels: The roof panels are completely original and come with the factory bags, but they’ve got some minor creases if you look closely. As you’ll know these are lightweight aluminium, so they dent easily. The roof panel trims are in a fairly poor state. Apparently, you can remove these or replace them but I have never got around to it. Paint: Following a minor incident on wet roads in 2015, I replaced both front wings and the bonnet with new old items and had them resprayed. Unfortunately, these are more deep red than the rest of the paint which has faded in common with other Cappuccinos of this age. Someone with the patience and skills to machine polish could get a good finish I’m sure. Bumpers: I removed the mesh from the front and rear bumpers when I obtained the car due to them being corroded and never put them back. Reversing and Fog Lamp: I replaced the original corroded items with trailer lamps which are extremely bright and effective, but not original. I have the plastic tray which goes under the engine and the tray which sits over the intercooler pipes, they are just not fitted. The interior is complete, the drivers seat shows wear to the bolster, but has not torn. The original carpets are in place, but under the drivers feet it has wear marks.
Spares included in sale
Original wheels and tyres. Tyres are all within legal limit, but the alloys need refurbishment. Lightly dented panels – bonnet, wings – maybe worth £150 - £200 all in. I have a spare headlight worth probably £70. I have a Stormforce cover, cost £136. Also, I have the original wheels and their legal non-matched tyres. They are rough, so call it £100 for the set. All these spares are included in the sale.
These cars are getting rare. They are absolutely charming and a blast to drive roof on or off. I will regret selling this one day, but I need room to finish off my MGB-GT.

1992 Suzuki cappuccino 660cc turbocharged. Car was imported into the uk in 1999. Just sailed through another MOT with no advisories ( full MOT history can be checked on the government website where you will see there has been NO mention of rust in this cars history ) I also have the paper certificates from 1999 to 2006 ...
