It is time to sell my immaculate and effectively as close to possible 'as new' 1972 Kawasaki Z1 that you can get.
This is the best one that you will see as it has not been on the road since its superb and meticulas restoration. I will list the details below:
Genuine 1972 Z1
November 1972 certified
V5 to hand and showing the date of first registration as 30/11/1972
Kawasaki Brown & Orange
Rare UK / European specification
Long and very rare rear mudguard (if you don't like the long mudguard I have a totally mint US short one that I can swop it with)
Both engine and frame numbers are under 3,000 (frame number 27xx) and only 107 apart so effectively matching numbers for a Kawasaki Z1
Only 5 miles on the clock after a FULL and highly comprehensive restoration carried out by a perfectionist about 6-7 years ago.
750 pictures to support the restoration
Correct ribless carbs
Correct swingarm, torque arm, discs & hubs
Original rims and spokes (rims re-chromed)
Original lion keys x2
Stunning unmarked paintwork
Correct airbox (not copy)
Correct indicator lens and tail light lens
OIl tank and oiler
Correct bolts etc
Handbook and tray
Number plate of 'KAW 903K' (Z1 enthusiasts will know that the 903 represents the 903cc engine size) will only come with this stunning Z1 if the asking price is more or less achieved
There is a 1972 one on eBay for a very high price of £29,989 which has 29,057 miles and another 1973 Z1 priced at £24,999 with 10,000 miles. This Z1 is much better than the both of them and this is a 1972 model - THE one to have!
This one has not been entered into any classic bike shows as that is not what I do with my bikes, but I assure you that if it did it would win!
This Z1 has always sat in my house alongside an RC30 and a Ducati Foggy Rep. I have just purchased another extremely rare race homologation bike so this is the genuine reason why I need to sell it. If I had the room in the house I wouldn't sell it! (not a chance in hell I would put in in the garage)
Genuine sale so please buy with confidence
Payment only by bank transfer as there are far too many scammers about and only when you are happy with this Z1 - but before you take it away!
No test rides.
Please contact me for more information - only genuine buyers please.
Many thanks for looking
