Foz is a 1978 RHD Vw Campervan converted in Australia and imported in 2011. We bought her in 2012 and have since restored her to a nearly new condition. There are many bills for work done, some from Australia, where the engine was rebuilt in the 90's. The whole bus including the roof has been repainted in the original colour and every window has been taken out and resealed. She was reupholstered in green and cream German vinyl before purchase and the woodwork has been reveneered. There is a sink and gas cooker hardly used and a fridge with freezer compartment. There is a leisure battery and hookup. She is now rust free and sound underneath. Recently she has had a new Sachs clutch, gear linkage, exhaust, shocks, coil, HT leads, plugs, and a 123 distributor. She has a twin carb 1911 engine which runs very sweetly, and starts easily. She has a guaranteed insurance valuation certificate for £36K but far more has been spent!
