This a truly Iconic and beautiful Fiat 500.
Presented in Fully Restored and immaculate condition.
Great care and attention has been taken to restore the car to original condition, using as many original parts as possible. Many parts have been kept prior to restoration to enhance the originality aspect of the car.
The total labour bill for the restoration totalled £8000. Parts were another £3500. Close as makes no difference £12000 restoration.
The car has not been used in the rain or any damp conditions since the restoration.
This car has also been in England all its life since leaving the Italian factory in Turin.
A very rare RHD model.
It has the added benefit of being fitted with the Abarth engine, so the uprated 650cc, giving it a true unique and collectible characteristic.
I have owned the car for 9 years and in that time I started off by rustproofing it, the I decided it needed to be restored, where we also rebuilt the gearbox, refurbished the carburettors, put a brand new distributor on the car and enjoyed the ownership journey immensely.
The engine is in wonderful condition with such low mileage from new.
Steering wheel is the original bakelite.
The interior seats are still the originals from 1966, as are the seatbelts. New carpets and door cards, new fabric roof.
A true, rare collectors item. A one off, and an Italian masterpiece.
Must be seen to be truly appreciated.
Selling due to lack of space.
