FALCON SHELLS SPORTS MK2.Falcon shells cars was founded by peter palandine 1956-1964 walthem abbey essex uk. The body was later used on the elva mk2.These cars have an interesting racing history,some with the len terry chassis (early lotus designer)were entered at le mans. The cars were also raced at silverstone and daytona in the late 1950s.This one was used by the first owner for competition and road use.Its a two owner car the orignal owner drove and maintained the car up untill 2015 when it was re finished,having a new re trimmed interior new brakes and a thorough machanical overhaul.The engine shows good compression and oil pressure.The car is based on its orignal yet modified and strengthend chassis with lowered floor pans.Period up-rated twin cylinder brakes all round that were a modification at the time.The car has rubery owen (bellamy) wheels and is fitted with an 1172 tuned side valve engine.It has has twin su carbs, performance inlet and classic orignal(GN) exaust system.It has an Aquaplane water pump, valve box cover and aquaplane oil cooler. The car keeps its orignal les leston steering wheel,gauges and early remote gear leaver.It starts easily and drives well and has detailed history it also comes with its orignal registration number.( regestered as historic on v5) offers invited
