Early 1963 MGB Pull Handle Roadster

Here at Race & Revival Motorsport Limited we have the pleasure of bringing to the market this extraordinarily 1963 Pull Handle MGB on behalf of my father.

This is an extraordinary example of a 1963 MGB Pull Door Handle. It is extraordinary for nine reasons. Those nine reasons are that she is incredibly early. Being so early she is the sought after “pull door handle” model and is both tax and MOT exempt (12 months MOT added in any case). Despite being so early she is mechanically perfect with the overdrive gearbox and remains in beautiful condition with gleaming coachwork, structural solidarity and this fantastic interior with her original seats and big steering wheel and she comes complete with a new soft top, tonneau and works style fibreglass hardtop.

1. An Early MGB
MG Club’s register of early cars; she was first registered on the 5th of September 1963. I have included a print out of The Register within the pictures.

2. The Sought After Pull Door Handle Model
Being such a early vehicle; she has the sought after pull door handles.

3. Mechanically Perfect Engine & Overdrive Gearbox
Being beautiful to drive, her 1798cc engine and overdrive gearbox are both perfect and she recently had a major (£2435) service carried out by a leading classic car specialist. That service included the fitment of a new electric fuel pump, battery, control box, dynamo, tyres, seat foams and diaphragms amongst many other maintenance jobs which are fully detailed within an invoice which is included within the pictures. If you would like to see a demonstration video of her ticking over then please see out Ebay listing.

4. Original Interior
Benefitting from her large original white piped leather seats and huge early steering wheel she has this unmolested and patina’d feel, whilst a brand new mohair soft top, tonneau and le mans fibreglass works style hard top ensure she is watertight.

5. Beautiful Tartan Red Coachwork
Having gleaming red Tartan Red coachwork which is in fantastic condition, she looks amazing and is finished off with excellent chrome work and a full set of brand new wire wheels and tyres (5). If you would like to see a walk around video of her body and exterior then please ask and if you would like to see a complete file of photos then please ask.

6. Structurally Solid
Being structurally solid and in fantastic condition underneath simply completes the package.

7. Road Tax & MOT Exempt
Being such an early example she is Road Tax and MOT exempt and accordingly neither requires road tax nor an MOT. That being said, she can be sold with 12 months MOT for your piece of mind.

8. History Folder
Having within her history folder some service history, her tax discs and MOT’s dating back to the 1990’s; she has done just 2000 miles in the last four years and 6000 miles in the last 25 years.

9. Extras
As mentioned; she comes with her original jacking kit, a wire wheel mallet and a spare wire wheel with a brand new tyre as well as her tonneau cover, a brand new mohair soft top and the le mans works style fibreglass hardtop.

Accordingly, for the above nine reasons you should expect an exceptional early pull door handle MGB, an MGB with exceptional provenance and beautiful coachwork, interior and weather gear, one that is structurally solid, drives perfectly, has an overdrive gearbox and overall; an MGB that you can be proud of.
