- The rarest of the 1600 berlinettes
- Very good restoration
- Optimized intake

Launched two years after the release of its replacement for the A310, the Alpine A110 1600 SX was the ultimate version of the Berlinette and just 387 units were produced between 1976 and 1977.
Registered on January 23, 1978, the car on offer would have been sold new in Germany, where it would have had only one owner, according to the current one.
The latter, a former automotive professional, bought this car in 2009. The vehicle had not been used for several years. He then undertook a total restoration of the car. The bodywork was stripped bare and removed from the chassis. The latter was painted with epoxy and the body sanded and then primed before painting. The mechanicals have also been completely dismantled for a general overhaul. The steering, suspension and braking components have also been refurbished. The interior has been revised with many new parts, including the seats. However, the work has been done in a reasoned manner, keeping a certain number of original fittings and accessories when possible, thus giving this Alpine a lot of soul. The seriousness of the restoration is confirmed, as despite the 9000km covered since, the car is still in a superb condition, and its operation is still as pleasant, with an engine in top form. This is more apparent as the power supply of this berlinette has been improved by replacing the Weber 35 DIR reverse double-barrel carburetor with two Weber 45 DCOE horizontal double-barrel carburetors. Our car is also equipped with the optional 4-point roll bar. Although not the most powerful, the SX version is probably the most efficient and undoubtedly the rarest of the 1600 series berlinettes. Given the quality of this 1600 SX, it represents a great opportunity for all true blue enthusiasts.

Estimation 70 000 - 90 000 €
