1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III

While competition, particularly from America, but also from Germany, was increasing, Rolls-Royce was forced to develop further its flagship model, the Silver Cloud. Thus, the Silver Cloud III was launched in 1962 and offered many modifications, both aesthetic, such as redesigned profile and quad headlights, which integrated well into that elegant front face, as well as technical improvements in adoption of a powered steering and a more powerful mechanicals. Rolls-Royce also highlight the “sporting” merits of its latest model through communication, which had never been used by the brand before. The example presented on offer is an interesting left-hand drive version, in a classical but very elegant grey and black two-tone livery, combined with a red leather interior which highlights the sumptuous inside particularly well. An optional air-conditioning system completes the luxuries on board. Its current owner bought it in 1989 when it was restored, and has since had the engine and exhaust line replaced by Monaco Rolls-Royce. In superb condition, and driving well, it waits only for a new owner to cover, for example, the distance from Le Touquet to Cap Ferrat that Tony Brooks had done on behalf of the brand at the time, thus confirming the car’s reliability. And if this adventure does not tempt you, you can nevertheless keep in mind Sir Henry Royce's phrase "Quality remains, long after the price has been forgotten!"

1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III
