Originally supplied by Allens of Romford, it was purchased In 1983 by the last owner (Jeff) who has cherished it for many years since. In 2014, he decided to get the car restored and it was put in the expert hands of Classic Coachworks in Broxted. This restoration included
* Rebore and full rebuild of the original engine
* Conversion to unleaded fuel
* Electronic ignition
* Some body sections replaced where necessary
* Total respray In original colour
* Original Wheels refurbished
Since completion of this work in 2015, it has been used sparingly with less than 2000 miles in the last 5 years. Overall it drives very well and is in excellent condition. It won the Show ‘n’ Shine class award at the prestigious Frankie’s Classic Car Fest in 2018.
It is being sold as part of the estate of Jeff, who loved this car and would want it to go to an equally enthusiastic new owner. This particular model of the Capri is now a very rare car.
I am selling the car on behalf of Jeff's family and will deal with any questions.
