This car was bought from the factory and passed on to the original owner's daughter. I bought it from her. Chassis 1288014.
This has the 440ci engine. The 7. 2 engine when it was first fitted in 1972 was rated at 330bhp and 425lbs/ ft. Later cars went down to 220bhp thanks to smog controls.
This car had an extensive overhaul under the original owner's stewardship which included bodywork, interior, engine and gearbox rebuilds among other works. I have owned the car for 5 years and done many other things including tyres, aircon pump, power steering rack etc. I've managed to put about 1500 miles on it, so its not getting much use, which is a shame for such a fabulous continent eater. It's a surprisingly modern driving experience.
The car is in excellent condition throughout and everything works as it should including 8 track player (now with MP3 cable) with assorted tapes if you have a dubious taste in 70s music.
