* Bills suggest engine was rebuilt in 2017
*£3500 serviced and check-over by Classic Performance Engineering last year
* Almost-new Blockley Tyres
This Rapier was built towards the end of production and comes to market with vendor-assessed excellent bodywork and paint and very good glass and trim. The seats are said to be good, as is the trim, while the front carpets are said to be in average condition, but please note the clock is not working, the vendor says. Paperwork suggests the engine was re-built in 2017 and the car was serviced and checked over by Bicester-based Classic Performance Engineering in mid-2019 at a cost of £3500. The vendor says handling is excellent and the brakes are very good and reports nearly new Blockley tyres are fitted. Coming with some history this forward-thing small-displacement twin cam sports car is worthy of any serious collection.
Presenting well externally and with the engine said to have been re-built in 2017 this late Rapier offers a seldom-seen opportunity to acquire one of these exquisite models.
