Stunning fully documented nut and bolt restoration of a 1973 Series 2 T150v, 5 speed, matching numbers US Spec bike. MOT'd, with original US title and large file of restoration documents, and ready for the rest of the summer.

Main restoration work:
Engine, gearbox and forks completely rebuilt by Bill (RIP) at Reg Allen last year
Frame completely stripped back and powder coated and tank hand-painted and lined by Colin at The Finishing Touch
Wheels by Martin at Haye Wheel Engineering
Gauges by Alan at the Gauge Shop
Chrome-work by Chrome Restoration Specialists at Folkestone
MOT & first services and fettling done by Cosmo at Cosmo Classics - a noted triples specialist.

I've managed to retain much of the original chromework, but otherwise this is basically a new bike - with new parts including:
New AMAL carbs (premier)
Lightweight alloy gantry
Tri-Spark ignition
Belt-drive kit
T160 front brake light switch
Upgraded rectifier/ regulator
Original Lucas switchgear fully restored (not the more modern and poorer quality Sparx switches often found on these bikes).
New braided Lucas loom
New lucas relays/ coils etc
New oil cooler
New oil pump
New speedo drive
New Venhill cables
New Hagons
LED's and PIAA bulb (£80 each for a PIAA but a vast improvement over a standard halogen)
Tank cleaned and re-lined
New pattern US trident seat - you'll see that it fits beautifully, whereas many bikes with incorrect seats have that annoying gap between the tank and seat.

The bike has UK stainless bars rather than the US bars - an easy change, I tried the US bars when mocking-up the bike (see photo) but I preferred the UK variety.

New Avon Roadrunners on stainless Devon rims with new Jones OEM front hub and stainless spokes.

This bike looks simply stunning - and is a definite concourse standard bike.

Over £13,500 in receipts along with plenty of restoration images.

I've done several heat cycles and no more than 50 test miles since re-build and a number of independent test runs have been done by Cosmo to fettle the bike pre-MoT. So it's a fresh restoration.

Starts first time every time, and is set slightly rich to start with minimum choke.

I've changed the gear and engine oil since the bikes first start, but I'd recommend a further oil change at 500 miles.

Selling so that I can move onto my next project.
