1938 Lagonda LG6 Drop Head Coupe. Sent from the factory in 1938 via English Motors to its first owner a Mr C G Chaplin of New York. The car was returned to the factory in 1948 for a complete refit before being shipped back to America.
Owned by a US Lagonda club official, it was sent for a total body-off rebuild to Pruitts of Pennsylvania in 1993. Purchased by the present owner and repatriated to the UK in 1998, the car has done very few miles since but has been regularly maintained by a top UK specialist including fitting an unleaded head. The Lagonda remains in excellent condition. The quoted mileage is since the car's restoration. The amazing US restoration has produced an eye catching and flamboyant car.
Will consider part exchange for a pre-1970 sports Jaguar.
