Nut and bolt bare metal restoration by renowned specialist in 2016/17 to original colour and “as it left the factory” specification. Pretty much treated as a Garage Queen since with little summer use only.
Heritage Trust Certificate confirming Original S 1275cc RHD Mk 1 in Old English White with black roof, and red and gold trim. One of 460 home market Austin versions delivered in 1967, the last year of Mk1 production.
Originally sold through HA Saunders of High Wycombe and didn’t change hands from 1977 until acquisition for restoration in 2012. The 1977 MOT confirms a then mileage of 62,762. Clock currently reads 67,000, but the engine Has been totally rebuilt.
Factory fitted reclining seats and 4.5 in wheel rims. The only none standard items on the car are black rose petal wheels (I have a new set of 4.5 in steel rims with the car) and a recently fitted electric fuel pump.
