Arguably the most beautiful of the XJS coupes the stage 1 facelift benefitted from much better rust protection than earlier models.
I have owned the vehicle for the last 4 years and in that time have spent c£14,000 on servicing, and improving the car. The work has included the following;
- All brake discs replaced/new front calipers
- New handbrake pads and mechanism
- Differential reconditioned
- New alternator
- New headlining
- New windscreen
- 5 wheels refurbished
- Replaced a/c pump and complete
refurb of the a/c system
- New Pirelli P600s
The car has been serviced and cared for by Mike Allen Services an XJS specialist in Swindon.
The car comes with complete with the number plate XJI 600 which is alone valued at £1,500.
Genuine reason for sale, I just have too many cars and not enough time to drive them! This is a lovely example of the model and whilst not perfect, runs beautifully and looks fantastic.
First Japan registration on the 01/10/89.
Then it was imported and cleared through customs in Germany and imported in Italy in 2011.
