1952 Excelsior Talisman Twin, TT1 SOLD

     1952 Excelsior Talisman Twin
250cc twin 2 stroke, Running very well, Older restoration , Good tyres,
The wheels have been rebuilt with Stainless rims and spokes. Speedometer rebuilt,
The seat has been Professionally recovered. Tank has been recently resprayed.
Very easy starter, The Generator coils and Magneto coils have been refurbished.
I hold the V5C in my name, also I have the Original Buff log book for this bike, It shows that the engine is the original one that came with the bike when new.

Also included with the bike is a spare 250cc 2 stroke Excelsior Engine for the Talisman of the same Period 1952. ( It comes in pieces ) The engine number tells me it's older than the engine in the bike.
All the parts are there, and more, ( Please look at the Photographs ). I bought the engine as a project, picked up all the bearings and oil seals and then the Project ran out of steam, it's been sitting in boxes ever since. There are no chipped or cracked fins. The only thing that needs attention, one of the gearbox mounting lugs has been broken ( see picture ) this is an easy repair at your local welding shop,

There is a manual with the bike ( Downloaded copy from the internet ) Shows you how the engine goes together, also all the other info you find in these manuals.
