A genuine low mileage well maintained Landie, having been a Fire Brigade Staff car for the 1st 22 years & preserved by enthusiastic owners since.
In 2005 the whole chassis was cleaned, serviced inc. new outriggers & internally Waxoyled. The bulkhead is rust free & there has never been any corrosion on the bodywork, for nearly 60yrs old she is incredible.
The mechanics prove by how positive & tight they are, including the steering which is unusually positive for this age, how genuine the mileage is & testament on how well she's been cared for.
I have had the swivels replaced with original chrome & the exhaust system has recently been replaced S/S to original design also new fuel tank, brakes overhaul inc. new master cylinder shoes and new nickel alloy pipes.
The crests on the doors are easily removed & I have documented approval from the Fire Brigade who supplied the original A/W for their reproduction.
Please phone or e-mail for more detailed history. Any inspection welcome & reasonable offers considered to those who wish to continue preserving her.
