1969 Porsche 911 LHD 2.7 (1976 S) Project Outlaw For Sale
39K Miles on Shell, Wide Arches, RS/R Bumpers, '76S Engine. For sale is my 1969 911 project, with a 2.7L 1976 S engine. As you can see the car is fully stripped ready to be rebuilt to how the next owner desires. History: I've had the car for 2 years, it was imported from Jamaica, hence the pure LHD and decent metal! It has the Porsche certificate of production and is ready to be registered, you'll be the 1st owner! (on paper at least). I've been through the motions with DVLA and it seems pretty straight forward to register, I just haven't got around to it yet as there were larger hurdles ahead. Body: The body is in great condition for its age, as its been in Jamaica for most of its life, and garaged for the last few years. The dials indicate 39K on the clock! Someone has done a relatively horrendous paint job on this car in the past, but obviously as a project, i'm sure you'll be painting it as you desire in the future. Unfortunately for me, most of the time I've spent on this car has been onerous repairs, and slight rust blemishes. The only thing left to do on the body is to replace the rear right engine mount, I've already done the left, and have another new one to replace it. It has all of the costly glass in it, and most of what is not on the car is in a box! Interior: I have most of the original interior, seats, wiring loom, electrical components, carpets, dials, heating box etc etc. All of which has aged, but i'm sure they could be made to work, but it was my intent to buy all new. Its great that there are so many manufacturers making new parts for these. Drivetrain: As I've already stated, this is a 1976 S spec engine with box to suit. This has already been stripped and inspected, ready to be put together with some money behind it! There are a few bits missing, a few hidden gems, and new components such as the twin triple Webber carbs. Again, all of whats needed is easily obtainable. Unfortunately, i'm selling due to new house and baby commitments (Boo!) I would have love to have gone all the way with this historically significant beauty. I've got it up together and ready for someone to come and take it at speed. Feel free to ask any questions. But life is too short to deal with idiots and onerous haggling. Thanks for reading!
