These cars designed in the 60's flower power era were the epitome of the 70's and 80's financial boom, they were reliable and cheap to own in the main as many components were shared with the everyday saloon cars which are now million mile taxis used in third world countries. Common and everywhere for very good reason 237,300 were produced and scattered around the globe in their 18 year reign and deservingly so. They are too good to just be driven by the lady in your life. The only 2 seater sports cars to surpass them in popularity were the much cheaper MGB and Mazda MX-5.
Beware of rusty cars with bulkhead problems, this car is fine but rotten ones are normally a write off. Also beware of over priced cars from a certain English specialist, this car is priced sensibly to compete with the US imported rust free ones at the correct price for a quick sale.

Very good, original, and VERY solid Mercedes 350SL. Running/driving well and without any rust. It has good original floors but it needs paint to make real nice. Furthermore, it has a strong running.....
