For sale is our Daimler V8 250 saloon in Indigo blue with walnut wood and a blue leather interior.
We have owned our Daimler for 5 years and now have another classic to focus on and have decided to let the Daimler go. Originally supplied new by Charles Follett Limited of London with a history file covering the last 20 years. This being a Daimler it is equipped with factory power steering, full leather and automatic transmission - none of which were standard on late mk2 jaguars -   making for a very relaxed classic drive.
Wood, headlining, carpets, seats and chrome are all in excellent condition too. I would not describe our Daimler as a 20k+ car and not a show winner so please do not expect perfection. The paint work on close inspection does have marks and there is some tiny bubbling in some of the paint to give an honest description. Having said that it does look really nice and is a pride to polish up. People see it as a much more expensive car. Structurally the car is solid. I had it MOT’d last 3 years ago and the car has done very few miles since and lives in a garage.
The V8 engine provides a great soundtrack (better than the equivalent mk2 Jag) and is in good condition.  I did previously find low compression on one cylinder in the past and fixed that by reseating a valve,  when the Cylinder head was off for this work, inspection showed that waterways were all in very good order and not corroded at all (which can be an issue on these if no antifreeze was used in the past).

It is MOT exempt and road tax free. The car has been thoroughly serviced (all oils and coolant, plugs etc) and I’ve recommissioned age related parts myself such as pads, coolant hoses, fuel pump, battery, fitted flexible ethanol resistant fuel lines, had the radiator re cored, rebuilt the carbs -the list goes on. The car starts on the button, runs and drives well.
I also have a set of used reasonable chrome wire wheels, which can come with the car if the buyer wishes – I never got round to having them refurbished and fitting.
In short, a very nice mostly original car that is a joy to own and pleasure and to drive. Over time the values will only go one way.

I have now uploaded some more videos including the underneath as requested.
