2001 Saab 95 Aero Auto For Sale

Bought this saab on a whim because I rented one when I went on my second date with my wife and because I used to work for Saab city. It was supposed to be a car I held onto for a few months but that was about three years ago now. It has been lots of fun to own and drive and it has needed a fair amount of maintenance but many of the jjobs ive done were not out of necessity but preventative work. So i've replaced, the crank sensor, Fuel pump, coolant by pass valve (all with new parts) didnt see the wisdom in changing the valve at the time but many have had sudden coolant loss and overheating problems from the failure of this part so i've never had to worry about that. Power response is great after changing the fuel pump. It does consume a bit of oil and occaisionally smokes when starting but this is not all the time, in fact is probably one in 25 starts. I have also replaced the rear shock absorber assemblies as the old ones were corroded.. something well worth checking if youre looking at other Saabs.. There is no rust in the arches although they do have paint scuffs around, its got its fair share of dents too, although still looks very attractive.. Wheels could do with a refurbish and tyres are ok although I suspect the front alignment would benefit from being checked and adjusted. More recently I have replaced all the engine mounts. I have also replaced the alternator and drive belt since the charge rate was low. During the job the mechanic reccommended to replace the starter motor so I got a new/refubished one which has almost a years warranty on, cost £90. When i bought the car it did have some damage on, front right wing was dented and rear bumper was damaged.. so i changed these with panels off a car being broken up. Also managed to find a quite a rare rear boot spoiler which looks fantastic on. I may well have missed some details but if you have any questions please get in touch. Based in London SE2 for viewing. Cheers for looking. ++ update ive now found a new car so dropping this price drastically from £850 to £395 however at this price it does not include the boot spoiler or the brand new battery ive just fitted (it will have an old battery, fitted)
