I am reluctantly selling my very well looked after Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor. (automatic)
It is in this gorgeous and sophisticated Mineral Green colour that truly stands out above all the drab SLK's on the road.
The car started life in Guernsey so the owner decided to have the car completely rust proofed as it would be driven in the salty sea air. The body work is straight and true.
It has been dry stored all it's life and has been meticulously cared for. When i took it for it's MOT the examiner called me over to see under the car and showed me how absolutely original and perfect the car was. He told me it was the single best classic Mercedes he had ever seen. There wasn't even dirt, not one leak. Perfect.
It comes with a full MOT and service history, all the book pack and two keys.
The roof is in perfect working order.
Driving it is an absolute pleasure. It never fails to put a smile on my face. The exhaust note is music to your ears. It just cruises.
The car has dual zone climate control, heated 2 tone leather seats - with no rips or tears and it's original cd stereo.
The car has only covered 58k miles. The engine has never been allowed to have dirty oil in it and pulls like a train. The automatic box flies up and down the gears beautifully.
The alloys have never been marked and all four tyres are Continental and are as good as brand new.
This car deserves somebody to keep up all the love it has received and have no expense spared for the rest of it's life. It really is a gorgeous classic with lots of investment potential but first just enjoy it for this UK bound hot Summer.
The only blemishes are that the cream vinyl interior has a few marks and bubbling in places. This is very common with this model.
This car is definitely one of the best around and that fact combined with the rare and I believe stunning colour makes this SLK a rather special car, agreed insurance valuation of £5500. First registered.....
